PulseAudio on Transifex

Thanks to Dimitris Glezos PulseAudio and its auxiliary tools are now available on Fedora's Transifex for translation. If you want to contribute translations, please submit them via Transifex, which will then result in direct commits to our upstream source code repositories -- without further delay or workload on my side. Submission via other ways (bug report, mail ...) will no longer be accepted.

Submit your translations now for PulseAudio, for the volume control, and for the preferences dialog. And while we are at it, Avahi's waiting for your translations, too.

Those huge and redundant strings containing the --help messages of pulseaudio... lovely, really (NOT). Could you please split them up, so that one string would correspond to one line of help? Remember, don't use long strings and translators will love you: see here

Also telling translators some magic commands, like git clone git://0pointer.de/paprefs.git is both helpful and appreciated.

But these are small glitches only, thanks for making your software translatable :).

That's great, but could you have these modules added to http://l10n.gnome.org/releases/freedesktop.org ? Thanks!

ReinoutS : no idea how I would add that there...

Lennart: you should tell gnome-i18n@ about the availability of avahi for translation. I already wrote an e-mail, this will be enough. ReinoutS: thanks for the idea :).

Where do I send my UPSTREAM translations? Fedora is downstream.

Daniel: Uh? via Transifex you push your translations directly into the upstream repository. There is no such thing as a "downstream" translations in the Transifex model.
